Whether you are outfitted with waders and creel along with the most sophisticated equipment or you prefer to stand on the bank in flip-flops and shorts, the opportunities to catch rainbow trout, brown trout or brook trout are endless. You can be fishing in a stream abundant with fish just minutes away from Settlers Mountain.

There are two trout farms nearby. There they supply the rods, reels, bait and when you are finished catching trout they clean and filet them, all for a nominal fee. This is an absolutely great option for the young angler and it insures that you have mountain trout for your table.
